Filled cut-out bias

What is commonly known as "bias tape" is in fact a fabric that is then formed into a tube by sewing one edge to the other. This tube is then continuously "twisted" into a spiral on itself to distort the direction of the warp threads, then the tube is rewound, cut into rounds that form rolls... of bias.
You can then fill in the edges, or not.
It looks complicated, to make a rather ugly ribbon, to tell the truth, but irreplaceable for "rounding off" in certain confections integrating important "curves": bibs, parasols, awnings are good examples.
It was not possible for us to neglect this important ribbon niche in order to satisfy all our customers, and SAGAERT is today a major supplier of
bias tape?
Always made only in our French factories, to the highest quality, with the best materials!
