French manufacturer of precision-machined parts
Sagaert, a 100% French company, has diversified over the years to become a major player in metal machining. Based in northern France, our Metal Machining division operates five state-of-the-art plants equipped with the latest technology.
Three of them manufacture specialized molds forplastic injection molding and press tools, with a very wide range of capabilities, from 40-metric-ton molds to specialized micro-tools.
Two other factories specialize in machining soft materials (aluminum, brass, resins, etc.) in very large or very small sizes, meeting a wide variety of needs: prototyping and models, fixtures, inspection tools, thermoforming, cutting, molding, etc.
Of course, all of these sites are rapidly developing numerous3D printing processes using various techniques across a wide range of printers.

Metal Machining: Frequently Asked Questions
Do you manufacture molds for plastic injection molding?
Yes, three of our five plants are dedicated to manufacturingplastic injection molds and press dies, ranging from 40 metric tons down to specialized micro-dies.
What types of soft materials can you machine?
Our other two plants machine aluminum, brass, and resins—in both very large and very small sizes—for prototyping, fixtures, inspection tools, thermoforming, and cutting.
Do you offer 3D scanning and 3D printing?
Yes, all of our locations are actively developing 3D scanning and3D printing using various techniques and a wide range of printers.
Do you also manufacture quality control tools?
Yes, we manufacture inspection jigs, metrology tools, and 3D inspection equipment, consistent with our own plastic-side inspection tools.
Do you handle the maintenance or repair of existing equipment?
Yes, we provide foundry remanufacturing services and work on maintenance parts, even if the tooling was not originally manufactured by us.
How do I get started on a machining project with Sagaert?
