French manufacturer of technical metal parts

Less than ten years ago, the Sagaert Group’s Metal Division established a state-of-the-art plant dedicated exclusively to sheet metal fabrication. This very new facility is equipped with the best punching, sheet metal bending, welding, and painting equipment available on the market. Equipped with several automatic-loading laser cutting machines, welding robots, a mirror-polishing system, and a high-performance powder coating tunnel, it produces assemblies of superb quality.

The wide variety of equipment and its great flexibility in operation make it possible to handle relatively small production runs cost-effectively, with very short lead times. Conversely, since each machine is equipped with automatic loading and unloading systems that operate even without human supervision, the manufacturing costs for large production runs often make offshoring an unattractive option.

The immediate proximity of the Sagaert Group’s milling, turning, wire, and tube-processing plants is the key factor that sets us apart from our competitors in the sheet metal industry: we are true integrated system integrators in the manufacture of complex subassemblies.

Our expertise in industrial sheet metal fabrication

Comprehensive expertise, from punching to finishing

Our industrial sheet metal shop, equipped with the latest generation of machinery, specializes in bending, stamping, and TIG/MIG welding. We work with a wide range of materials—including stainless steel and aluminum—to manufacture high-precision metal parts, from simple punching to complete sheet metal fabrication.

Our workshops cover every stage of the process, from design to assembly, including surface treatment, sandblasting, and finishing. Whether for industrial maintenance, precision sheet metal work, or the manufacture of stamped parts, we ensure that our work meets the most demanding specifications—for both single-unit parts and large production runs—at competitive prices.

Industrial Sheet Metal Fabrication: Frequently Asked Questions

What thicknesses and materials can you work with in sheet metal fabrication?

Our laser cutting machines can process materials up to 25 mm thick, and our press brakes can handle up to 220 metric tons over a 3-meter length. We work with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Can you produce small batches with short lead times?

Yes, the diversity of our machinery and its automation (automatic loading/unloading) allow us to handle small production runs cost-effectively and with short lead times, without compromising the competitiveness of large-scale production.

Do you offer painting or surface treatment services for sheet metal parts?

Yes, our automated degreasing and powder-coating tunnel allows us to perform cutting, bending, welding, and painting in sequence without outsourcing.

Do you also manufacture complete subassemblies, not just sheet metal parts?

Yes, that's what sets us apart from traditional sheet metal fabricators: thanks to the proximity of ourmachining, wire, and tube-fabrication facilities, we deliver complex, fully assembled subassemblies—not just individual parts.

What types of sheet metal parts or equipment do you manufacture?

From metal furniture and display units to signage and machine enclosures, as well as sheet metal work for construction andstore fixtures.

How do I get started on a sheet metal project with Sagaert?

Contact us with your design or specifications: we’ll work with you to determine the technical solution best suited to your part and your production volume.
