Sagaert is now France’s leading manufacturer of webbing and ribbons, building on a legacy of two centuries of narrow-width weaving in Comines, in northern France. Our six specialized factories, equipped with 600 looms, produce more than one million meters of woven webbing and ribbons every day, made from a variety of materials: polyester, cotton, linen, polyamide, polypropylene, aramid, and spandex.

This unique industrial capability is based on full-scale integration: yarn dyeing in our own facilities, weaving, garment manufacturing, cutting, screen printing, and injection molding of plastic buckles. This allows you to obtain a custom-made webbing or personalized ribbon —in your choice of width, color, jacquard pattern, and print—with short lead times and 100% French traceability.

Our technical straps are used in cargo securing, lifting, material handling, the automotive industry, defense, and agricultural machinery, with tensile strengths certified according to each sector’s standards. In the fashion and packaging sectors, our satin, grosgrain, and cotton twill ribbons are used in leather goods, luxury brands, and events—from ribbon for grand openings to ribbon for medals.
