Our Expertise
The Sagaert Group designs and weaves its military webbing at its 18 production facilities, all located in France. From yarn to finished webbing, every step of the process takes place in-house—giving us direct control over quality and lead times.
Our workshops incorporate dyeing processes and have their own testing equipment: infrared reflectance measurement, and tests for colorfastness to light and washing. These are two critical factors for equipment subjected to heavy use in the field.
Our looms, which are among the most advanced in the world, enable us to faithfully reproduce even the most intricate camouflage patterns—technical expertise put to work for camouflage.
Virtually all of the straps used for military bags and clothing in France were developed in our workshops, in direct collaboration with the technical departments of the three branches of the military.
We supply large quantities of military straps, ribbons, and elastic bands to the British, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, and Belgian armed forces, with a stock of samples and prototypes available to expedite each new project.
In addition to webbing, we offer laser cutting and custom sewing, as well as the production of IR plastic buckles, soft buttons, braided cords, military laces, cords, and heavy-duty fabrics —to cover all aspects of equipment.
