The Sagaert Group, a family-owned business based in northern France, continues the manufacturing operations of Cheynet et Fils, near Saint-Étienne.
The family-owned company Cheynet was a manufacturer of elastic tape for lingerie and corsetry. When it permanently ceased production, it had a stock of undyed products ready for dyeing totaling more than 12 million meters.
Sagaert has taken over the entire inventory, which allows for a smooth and seamless transition to manufacturing the same items, now relocated to our factories in Comines.
Cheynet elastic bands—whether knitted or woven—made of polyester, polyamide, and spandex, are available in widths ranging from 3 to 70 mm for lingerie, corsetry, medical applications, and sportswear. We dye them at our own factory in Comines, according to your Pantone color code or a sample.
