Overmolding on molded elastic cable

The complex overmold shown in this photo is an overmolded component we developed with a demanding customer, and of which we're quite proud as it's a good showcase for our plastic injection know-how on metal wires and cables.

Radionuclear protective equipment for surgery, which must adapt immediately to all types of eyeglasses and be able to be adjusted in all directions, instinctively.

Numerous unsuccessful attempts had been made using mechanical elements, until our customer came up with a complete overmolding on a shape-memory wire...and we developed it as closely as possible to the concept he had in mind.

For other purposes, we often combine plastic elements with braided metal cables, for remote opening systems, for example, or with spring wires, electrical cables, very thin tubes, or the ends of small cylinders, to create specific components perfectly suited to the most special of uses...

And all in France, at our Comines plant, with tooling machined in our workshops in Normandy and Pas de Calais.
