The metal bungee cord... A misnomer? Not at all!
At Sagaert, we have developed and regularly manufacture high elastic bungee cords incorporating stainless steel or copper wires. Contrary to what you might think, these bungee cords retain all theirelongation and elastic restoring force properties, while offering valuable additional features for certain technical applications.
Originally designed to accompany our tapes and braids for electric fencing, these bungee cords are now widely used. Thanks to their strength and flexibility, they are now used in many sectors, such as decoration, displays and showcases, where the appearance of round metal is sought-after.
But that's not all: metal bungee cords also meet specific technical requirements. It is used for its thermal and electrical conductivity properties, as well as for its high resistance toabrasion.
