Difficult to describe precisely, costing very little but capable of causing enormous damage in the event of a technical problem, often susceptible to wear and tear—and in particular to oxidation in hard-to-reach, often damp corners of certain machines— springs can break after a few years, ruining the machines you’ve brought to market—and… your reputation with your customers at the same time.
Many spring manufacturers will offer you “low-cost” “anti-corrosion treatments” after manufacturing, or the use of “protected wire.”

Many manufacturers offer, at a lower cost, post-manufacturing anti-corrosion treatment or pre- -protected wire. When we believe the application is demanding or risky, we prefer to consistently offer stainless steel components—even if our price isn’t the lowest.
