French manufacturer of technical metal tubes

The acquisition of two state-of-the-art laser tube cutting machines and several dual-head digital tube benders marked the beginning of a thriving new business for the Sagaert Group: metal tube processing and fabrication.

Housed in a new building, this branch benefits from highly efficient painting facilities, extensive welding capabilities, and a well-organized engineering department. With the expertise to perform laser tube cutting and tube bending, this new operation has quickly become a very dynamic division of the group.

Capable of processing various materials such as aluminum, steel, and stainless steel, it can also produce wire in both simple and complex shapes. The ends of the manufactured tubes and wires are shaped by punching, flattening, or cutting to accommodate sealing or fastening elements that are installed on site.

Description

To obtain the desired shape, the tube can be shaped by various means: cutting, deburring, bending, cambering. Rectangular, square, round, tubes can also be drilled.

Many of our products incorporate our expertise in tube and sheet metal fabrication, as well as the use of plastic and textile components produced in-house.

Tube Processing: Frequently Asked Questions

What tube diameters and materials can you work with?

Our tube laser cuts diameters up to 140 mm, and our CNC bending machines can handle diameters up to 40 mm on two heads. We work with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

What is the difference between tube bending and laser cutting?

Bending deforms the tube to give it a curve, while laser cutting cuts, drills, or trims the tube without deforming it—the two processes are often combined on the same part.

Can you also weld and paint tubular structures?

Yes, our workshop has extensive welding capabilities (MIG, TIG, 6-axis robot) and painting facilities, enabling us to deliver ready-to-use welded tubular structures.

Do you manufacture custom chassis or structures for special-purpose vehicles?

Yes, we manufacture special vehicle frames as well as custom-made structures such as racks and safety grilles.

Do you also work with designers or furniture designers?

Yes, our design and development division supports projects involving furniture and objects made from tubing, from prototypes to small production runs.

How do I get started on a tube fabrication project with Sagaert?

Contact us with your design or specifications: we’ll work with you to determine the technical solution best suited to your part and your production volume.
