Injection molding is a plastic transformation process. It combines the steps specific to plastic injection with those of compression, all in the same mold. This solution offers numerous advantages, as it greatly reduces internal stresses specific to plastics and part geometry, offers better part surface quality (less flux) and excellent repeatability in dimensional accuracy.
This makes it the perfect solution for demanding parts requiring precise ribs (reinforced ribs). It's also ideal when you're looking for an impeccable surface finish, excellent flatness, or very, very thin thicknesses.

By combining the principles ofinjection molding and compression molding, injection-compression technology delivers reliable, homogeneous results down to the smallest detail, while meeting the most demanding requirements.

The requirements associated with precision electronics, small phone footprints and minimal chip sizes meant that we had to produce complex plastic part geometries that would not have been possible using conventional injection molding methods. Injection-compression has compensated for these problems (thickness and dimensional accuracy), offering an excellent technical and industrial solution.
