Bioreactor

The plastic structure of the bioreactor in the photo above is a showcase for the SAGAERT PLASTIQUE group's impressive expertise in high-tech plastics processing:

It's made up of some twenty elements molded in technical materials to extremely precise tolerances, with components that tolerate no draft angles (a real challenge for our tooling design to ensure trace-free demolding! ).

These elements are assembled with a chain of very fine ribs to avoid any turbulence in the fluid flow and ensure a contact seal.

The surface finish is extremely important, and suffers no imperfections. (linear flow of liquids in the reactor)

The concentricity of each component is close to perfection, and the final assembly meets the draconian requirements imposed by our customer's innovative process.

The development and production of this tooling needed to be carried out within a short timeframe, and our four mould factories were able to achieve this technical, fitting and finishing performance, again testifying to our expertise in meeting demanding specifications.

Series production has also proved highly satisfactory and continues to supply the pharmaceutical sector in our plant with production.
