The SAGAERT group has a strong presence in the aeronautics industry, and several of its 24 production sites in France are involved in the various programs of European and American aircraft manufacturers, including in business aviation.
In textiles, we've been making fabrics, webbing, halyards and bungee cords for decades.
In plastics, in the broadest sense of the term, we drape and mold all kinds of glass/silicone and aramid/silicone gaskets. In a dedicated subsidiary, we inject special thermoplastic parts, and manufacture numerous composite parts.
All the tooling required for these different products is still made in-house, since we have four precision engineering subsidiaries, each specialized in a particular trade and material.
Our multi-site, multi-product organization enables us to constantly adapt the processes we use in line with quantitative trends.
Over the years, it is not uncommon to see components evolve frommachining in the mass to composite, then from composite toinjection molding.....Still with us!
