Overmoulding |

When plastic parts, straps and metal elements are manufactured in the same group, they are immediately assembled by overmoulding!

A specific overmoulding : on textile |
|
This technique is attractive because it makes it possible to produce very aesthetic sets, manufactured without unsightly seams, which greatly enhance the value of our customers' products. It also makes it possible to produce technical sub-assemblies in one operation, with total repeatability. The applications are limitless: handles for luxury bags or luggage, with a pleasant touch, straps mounted with sophisticated buckles, plastic ends attached to straps or ribbons, plastic beads moulded on cords or bungee cords, plastic eyelets that cannot be removed, but also highly technical parts to regulate the deployment of airbags, plastic bungee cord hooks, net frames made directly on the mesh, filtration structures, etc. Overmoulding on textiles remains a delicate technique because a particularly precise plastics process has to be combined with textile elements whose tolerances are by nature quite variable. This is an impossible task when separate textile and plastic suppliers have to be involved, and it is ... almost easy when the two activities are integrated in the same company! |
