Slat seal

The slat is a mobile element located at the leading edge of the wing.

It increases the lift by preventing the separation of the air streams at large angles of attack during landing phases at reduced speed.

The airtightness of the wings is very important and contributes to the stability of the aircraft and the performances (consumption...).

The slat seals see a very specific stress since they rub for a distance on the leading edge of the fixed wing.

The silicone seals are therefore reinforced with textile, especially for easy gliding and a long service life.
