Radome seal
Description
The radome is a shield that protects the radar and/or the antennas from bad weather and shocks.
The radome is dome-shaped and can be opened with hinges on the side or top.
The junction between the radome and the fuselage is mainly ensured by a lip seal. The lip seal has the advantage of requiring a low compression force.
A fixing by pins is conceivable because its opening is infrequent.
